GRAND PRAIRIE BOYS BASEBALL (GPBBI)
PARK POLICY

Please abide by the following policies, which are for your safety and the safety of others.

  • ALL GPBBI Parks are ALCOHOL FREE facilities.  No alcoholic beverages are allowed.
  • No Coolers are allowed, no glass containers.  
  • FIREARMS are strictly prohibited.
  • NO PETS of any type are allowed.
  • NO Smoking within 50 ft of the fields or concession stand
  •  No tobacco is allowed on the field..
  • ABUSIVE or VULGAR language is not allowed.
  • NO Skateboards, Bicycles, Scooters, Roller Blades or Roller Skates are allowed.
  •  

COACH’S RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Coaches are responsible for the actions of their team, players and fans.  
  • When not playing a game, DO NOT ALLOW YOUR PLAYERS to use a field that is not in use for warm-up, batting practice, pick-up games or home run derby games.
  • FOR FIELD SAFETY, all coaches, equipment and players are expected to be in the dugout during games.

·         One coach may occupy the third base coach’s box and one coach may occupy the first base coach’s box when his team is hitting.  Two players are allowed out of the dugout when their team is hitting, the hitter and the hitter on deck.  

·         When the team is in the field, no one is allowed out of the dugout except a coach who will be allow just outside the dugout against the fence or sitting to give the pitching signs to the catcher.

 

 GPBBI  PARK FIELD ETIQUETTE  

Rules should always be followed when practicing or playing on any baseball field.

  • Keep all equipment in the dugout.
  • NO INFIELD practice before the game.
  • No warm up in front of the dugout or in the infield area.  Stay off the infield until game time.
  • Warm up in the outfield.
  • NO BATTING practice before a game except with the use of wiffle balls
  • No soft-toss into the fence.  Bring a portable net to hit into or hit wiffle balls into the outfield. 
  • Do not allow your players to dig holes into the turf.   
  • Never leave trash on the field or in the dugout.
  • GPBBI will furnish water in the dugouts and two new baseball per game.
